Ya-Ting has been a regular performer at our series and, after last year’s performance of Beethoven’s Diabelli Variations, this year she brings a very contrasted programme which features Schubert’s Piano Sonata in C minor and Liszt’s Benediction de Dieu dans la solitude. In addition there will be music by Shostakovich, and Horowitz’ variations on themes from Bizet’s opera Carmen.
