David Li - piano.
David graduated with a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano Performance in 2024 from the University of Auckland where he studied under Stephen De Pledge and Rae de Lisle. he has received many awards and scholarships and had considerable success in recitals and competitions. David is a passionate chamber musician, and in 2023 his piano-percussion quartet won first prize at the University of Auckland Chamber Competition. His programme includes Mozart’s Piano Sonata in A minor K310 and Tchaikovsky’s The Seasons, 12 short character pieces describing the months of the year as seen from Tchaikovsky’s perspective.
