All Saints Thursdays @ Seven Spring Series Concert 3
Time: 7-8pm
Location: All Saints Church, Howick
Ya-Ting Liou (piano).
Italy features again in this week’s recital by Ya-Ting, another artist whose performances at All Saints have been greatly appreciated. Liszt’s Années de Pelerinage (volume 2) allude to the warmth and passion of Italy, exploring Italian art, literature and music. The seven pieces that make up this volume make immense technical demands as the music explores facets of Raphael, Petrarch, Michelangelo and others.
