Regular visitors to Howick, Auckland Youth Orchestra bring us Rachmaninov’s Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini with piano soloist Shan Liu, and Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite. This is a great opportunity to hear these outstanding young players under their inspiring conductor Antun Poljanich, and perhaps to introduce a friend to the joys of orchestral music.
